A Tour of Dendrobium Orchids: Parishii, Kingianum, and New Hope Mini

Welcome to our tour of dendrobium orchids! In this video, we'll be taking a closer look at three different types of dendrobium orchids: Parishii, Kingianum, and New Hope Mini.

Each type of dendrobium orchid has its own unique set of characteristics and care needs, so be sure to watch the whole video to learn more about each one.

Dendrobium parishii is a type of dendrobium Orchid that originates from Australia. It is a epiphytic orchid, which means that it grows on other plants instead of in the ground. The parishii has long, thin leaves and can grow up to two feet tall. The flowers are white with a purple center and they bloom in the springtime.

Dendrobium kingianum is another type of dendrobium orchid that originates from Australia. It is also an epiphytic orchid, which means that it grows on other plants instead of in the ground. The kingianum has shorter, thicker leaves than the parishii and can only grow to be about one foot tall. The flowers are pink with a white center and they bloom in the summertime.

The New Hope mini is a type of dendrobium orchid that was created by crossing two other types of dendrobium orchids: the Dendrobium nobile and the Dendrobium thyrsiflorum. The New Hope mini is a miniature version of the Dendrobium nobile, which means that it only grows to be about six inches tall. The leaves are dark green and the flowers are white with a purple center. The New Hope mini blooms in the springtime.
